1950s – Carl Auböck brass chess set

A magnificent brass 32 piece chess set designed by Carl Auböck with wonderful patina. This design is more uncommon than others by Carl Auböck featuring figures lifted by stems. Wonderful patinated brass for the black pieces.

Wear from age. The black queen has a visible "season crack" from age (pictured).
