A beautifully designed pair of department store display stands from the 1930s. Great contrast between the burl wood and the chrome. The platform/plate is originally for shoes but I have repurposed these in the past by removing the plate and replacing it with signage or my own. The mount pivots fully vertical to fully horizontal. A great collector piece but also an item for a photographer to consider using to display items they are photographing.
Measurements –
Both have a 4.25 inch diameter base
The tall display:
18 inches tall at its lowest height and can extend up to 28 inches (including the plate)
The plate is 6 inches by 8 inches
The smaller stand:
11.5 inches tall
The plate is 4.5 inches by 8 inches
Condition –
Pitting on the platforms and some on the the chrome by the burl wood. Overall great vintage condition for its age.
