This Art Deco box is a rare piece by Swedish designers Widerholm and Dahlberg, featuring a pewter figure peering into a mysterious hole. This box was originally created with just the use of pewter so it's a real treat finding this in brass and pewter. The brass has developed an amazing patina over time creating a wonderful contrast between the brass body and the silvery pewter figure.
Originally crafted as a sophisticated storage solution for gentleman's accessories, this petite box would make a great addition to a desk, vanity, or bookshelf, where it can serve as both a functional storage piece and a true conversation-starting sculptural element.
