A great example of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil design that took place in the early 1900s. It's quite stylish for a handled candy dish. This dish was made from pewter and has Art Nouveau design elements on all sides. On one end a "thumb-pressure relief" technique (developed by Hugo Leven) is shown where you can see where thumbs were used to shape the form.
The bottom is marked "Kayserzinn 4471"
