Apple for scale!
These oversized Italian modernist bowls masterfully balance mid-century minimalism with classical detailing. Originally designed as cream and sugar vessels, their generous scale makes them versatile accent pieces. The orb-beaded base provides an unexpected decorative element that contrasts beautifully with the clean lines of the bowls themselves... very reminiscent of detailing by Josef Hoffmann or Jean Després. The graceful hook handles add sculptural interest while the naturally developed patina brings warmth to the silver finish.
Perfect as sophisticated catchalls for a styled console, as striking desk accessories, or used for its intended use. A super impactful design!
